In 2013, artist, writer and musician Keith Sparrow put together with some friends a unique show celebrating the work of David Bowie, using music, dance, spoken word, live painting and art.
The Bowie Lounge returned and evolved over each year following Bowie’s death in 2016, and was last performed in December 2019.
To mark a decade since that first show, The Bowie Lounge will return for a special performance at the Guildhall, St Ives on September 23rd.
The Bowie Lounge seeks to engage people with David Bowie’s words and music in a way unlike any other show; not a tribute band, but definitely a moving and exhilarating homage to perhaps the greatest rock star of his or any other era.
