ACCESSIBILITY
We work with lots of different people, business, promoters and event managers, and groups of volunteers who want good stuff going on in the town.
The main common purpose we all share is for everyone to have an enjoyable experience.
Information for people with mobility requirements
The Guildhall ground floor is wheelchair accessible.
If you are a wheelchair or mobility scooter user coming to see a show and wish to sit in a specific area of the auditorium please let box office know when you book. We can either contact the event promoter or make provision and reserve your space. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate wheelchair-using ticket-holders for a performance if we do not receive notification at the time of booking.
Although no specific parking, there is vehicle access to drop off and pick up outside.
General
If you have any specific questions, such as how far it is to walk from a car park or whether the ground underfoot is pushchair-friendly – the pavement outside is cobbled so it is a little bumpy! – or if you’re booking to see a show and want to check to see if there are any loud sound effects that may be unsettling for people in your group – or if you need any other information to help you visit us and book with confidence call the office on 01736 797 840 and chat to one of our friendly team.
