Don’t miss a rare UK opportunity to see world-travelled Irish singer-songwriter Luka Bloom as St Ives September Festival bring him to The Guildhall for his first-ever appearance in Cornwall. Bloom, an amazing guitarist, and incredible singer with a big following across Europe, the USA and Australia is celebrating a 50-year musical journey. It began in 1972 when he wrote his first songs and was opening act for the original Planxty.
“Writing songs, recording them, and performing them is all I have done for the past 50 years,” says Luka, a huge attraction in Europe, the USA and around the globe.
He wrote City Of Chicago but cites his best known recordings on 25 albums as Riverside, Acoustic Motorbike and Salty Heaven adding: “I just love my job. And since Covid, I love my job more than ever.”
